Morgan & Morgan advised HSBC Bank (Panam\u00e1), S.A., with respect to the secured financing for the acquisition of real estate required for the construction of bus depots for the bus rapid transport system for Panama City called \u201cMetrobus\u201d. This financing was structured under a term loan facility in an aggregate amount equal to US$14,708,782.55, evidenced through a facility agreement governed by the laws of Panama, entered into between Transporte Masivo de Panam\u00e1, S.A., as borrower and HSBC Bank (Panam\u00e1), S.A., as lender.<\/p>\n
The financing was secured through real estate mortgages in favour of HSBC Bank (Panam\u00e1), S.A. over the real estate acquired for the construction of the bus depots and the assignment in favour of HSBC Bank (Panam\u00e1), S.A. of certain economic rights of the borrower under the concession agreement of the Metrobus.<\/p>\n
Partners Francisco Arias and Ramon Varela and Associates Ricardo Arias and Roberto Vidal assumed principal responsibility on this matter.<\/p>\n

Morgan & Morgan asesor\u00f3 al HSBC Bank (Panam\u00e1) en lo concerniente al financiamiento asegurado para la adquisici\u00f3n del bien inmueble requerido para la construcci\u00f3n de la terminal de autobuses para el sistema de transporte r\u00e1pido de la ciudad de Panam\u00e1, llamado \u201cMetrob\u00fas\u201d. Este financiamiento fue estructurado bajo las facilidades de un pr\u00e9stamo hipotecario por un monto total de US$14,708,782.55 a trav\u00e9s de un acuerdo de pr\u00e9stamo gobernado por las leyes paname\u00f1as, acordado entre Transporte Masivo de Panam\u00e1, S.A. como prestatario y el HSBC Bank (Panam\u00e1), S.A. como prestamista.<\/p>\n
El financiamiento fue asegurado mediante hipotecas de bienes inmuebles a favor del HSBC Bank (Panam\u00e1), S.
