Litigation and Dispute Resolution
Nayubel Rivera is an Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution of Morgan & Morgan and focuses her practice in commercial and corporate litigation proceedings contemplated in Panamanian law before the different jurisdictional organs of the Republic of Panama, including civil, administrative, and criminal courts. She regularly advises clients related to sectors such as banking, construction, insurance, oil and gas, energy, mining, and retail.
In addition, Ms. Rivera also has been involved in processes pertaining to inheritance, recognition of foreign judgments, and arbitration before the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CeCAP) and the Conflict Resolution Center (CESCON) of the Panamanian Chamber of Construction.
Ms. Rivera is an affiliate of WIP Panama (women in the legal profession), and Axxion (a professional women network in Panama) and a member of the Panamanian Association of Business Executives (APEDE).
On pro bono matters, she regularly advises in Legal Open Houses organized by the firm in very low-income communities to provide free legal orientation.
She is graduated from the School of Law of the University of Panama and holds an LL.M. in Commercial Law in the same Law School.
Ms. Rivera is admitted to practice law in the Republic of Panama.
