Español On Saturday September 29th, a team of lawyers and volunteers from Morgan & Morgan and Fundalcom participated in the 9th Legal Open House in alliance with Fundación Telefónica, which took place in the community of Bique, in the district of Arraiján.
The attorneys of Morgan & Morgan offered their support in terms of legal advice to a total of 31 people, which focused on cases involving family law, criminal law, and litigation, among others.
To complement the legal services offered, 22 people from the community participated in a workshop for awareness and prevention of domestic violence, and also benefited from this orientation day.
The Community Legal Assistance Foundation (Fundalcom) project is a unique one among law firms and private companies in Panama, and it is a flagship practice of Morgan & Morgan’s CSR practices and aims to provide low income people, free legal advice and representation processes in Family Law and Domestic Violence.
By participating in this conference, Morgan & Morgan reaffirms its commitment to the Pro Bono Declaration of the Americas as the first and only firm Panamanian signatory of this initiative.
