Panama City, Panama. In 2023, Morgan & Morgan celebrates its first centennial of successful trajectory and commitment with its clients, professional staff, and community-100 years of providing comprehensive legal services and leading the legal sector in Panama.
A history that began in 1923 when founder Mr. Eduardo Morgan Alvarez (1902-1988) started practicing law. A legacy continued by his sons, Eduardo Morgan Jr. (1937-2021) and Juan David Morgan G., with the dynamic of continuously revamping the firm until it became a multidisciplinary organization to serve its clients holistically.
Mr. Morgan Alvarez, a self-taught person who earnestly devoted himself to the study of law, could not even imagine the contribution of Morgan & Morgan to Panama´s social development. He was responsible for setting an important milestone in Panama´s legal history by creating labor law favoring agricultural workers and promoting the Educator´s Economy Act. He would be proud of today´s firm focus on his legacy in pro bono practice and the different initiatives aimed at Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as FUNDAMORGAN, the organization´s social pillar, which works in Education and Access to Justice.
Looking towards a future full of opportunities, Morgan & Morgan continues innovating its legal practices, expanding its knowledge in new industries, adopting modern technologies, and integrating a talented legal team of lawyers.
