Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in our country, we want to remind you of the actions to take in case you have been exposed to the virus or if you are COVID-19 positive.
According to Executive Decree No. 64, of November 30, 2023, the actions to follow are:
*Day 0: for asymptomatic patients the day that test gave positive.
for patients with symptoms is the day the symptoms started.
**In hospitalized patients or immunosuppressed, the medical attendee will determine the necessity of having a new test.
***Extended guide for early use of antivirals medicine on an outpatient basis in COVID-19 patients that are considered mild or moderated at risk of progression to severe or serious illness. Resolution No. 530 of September 8, 2022.
****In the case a person voluntarily has a new test before day 7, and has a negative result, has to no longer stay in quarantine.
