Morgan & Morgan associate elected as Treasurer of AmCham

Mrs. Amanda Barraza de Wong, Associate of the Tax Department of Morgan & Morgan, was formally elected as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Panama (AmCham) for the 2016-2017 period.

Mr. Barraza de Wong is a very business oriented attorney with strong experience advising clients on corporate tax matters when doing business in Panama as well as on individuals´ tax issues. She began her career as Legal Counsel for the senior office of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury and the Department of Revenue. Later, she worked in the tax departments of major international audit firms such as Pricewaterhouse Coopers as Senior Legal and Tax Manager.

Amanda is member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and active member of the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Panama where she has chaired the Tax & Legal Committee for several years.
