Temporary measures for the recognition of the validity of Venezuelan passports in Panamanian territory.
In accordance with Resolution No. 7533 of March 20th, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the “Resolution”), published in Official Gazette No. 30248 on April 1st, 2025, temporary measures are adopted to recognize the validity of passports of Venezuelan citizens residing in the Republic of Panama. These measures establish the following:

The acceptance of expired passports from Venezuelan citizens present in Panamanian territory is authorized as a valid and current identity document for requesting any type of immigration procedure before the National Immigration Authority.

Venezuelan passports that expired from the year 2018 onwards will be considered valid by the National Immigration Authority, until the conclusion of the rupture of diplomatic relations between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Panama.
