Morgan & Morgan advises IFC, JBIC, EIB, IDB and CAF in connection with a US$ 2.3 billion loan to finance the Panama Canal Expansion

Morgan & Morgan acted as local counsel to International Financial Corporation (IFC), Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), The European Investment Bank (EIB), Inter American Development Bank (IDB) and Andean Development Corporation (CAF), in connection with a US$2.3 billion syndicated loan unsecured credit facility to finance the expansion of the Panama Canal.

Francisco Arias G. and Elizabeth Heurtematte assumed principal responsibility on the matter.

Morgan y Morgan actuó como asesor local de la Corporación Financiera Internacional (CFI), el Banco Japonés para la Cooperación Internacional (JBIC), el Banco Europeo de Inversiones (EIB), el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) y la Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF), en relación con la facilidad crediticia sin garantías otorgada a la Autoridad del Canal de Panamá por US$2.3 billones para el financiamiento de la expansión del Canal de Panamá.
