Morgan & Morgan trains its employees in prevention of money laundering and risk management.

Panama, January 2^nd, 2023.  As an organization committed to Responsible Governance, Morgan & Morgan began the year 2023 with a massive training for its employees on “Prevention of Money Laundering and Risk Management for the Lawyers Sector.”

The activity was attended by more than 150 professionals from different areas of the firm, who had the opportunity to keep updated on policies, procedures and internal compliance controls for the prevention of money laundering; among other provisions established in Law 23 of April 27^th, 2015 that regulates this important issue that impacts multiple sectors in the Republic of Panama.

The training was conducted by Mrs. Lorena Rodríguez, Manager of Panama Compliance Services Inc., a compliance company duly authorized and registered with the Superintendency of Non-Financial Entities.

With these initiatives, Morgan & Morgan reinforces its leadership as a benchmark in corporate standards; keeping a constant monitoring of the control systems and internal regulations that enshrine the values, principles and conducts of the firm and its team of professionals.
